Hi there!

My name is Moran Sciamama-Saghiv, and I am the author of a children's book called "Pumpy & Pumpina". The book includes 32 high quality and very colorful illustrations telling the story of James, Mary, Pumpy, and Pumpina.

James is an African-American boy growing up in a mixed-race family, while Mary is a Caucasian girl growing up with her dad as part of a single-parent family. Pumpy is james' heart, and Pumpina is Mary's heart. The book includes more than meets the eye while sharing with the readers the activities, thoughts, and feelings that all four experience during their day.

The book has a diversity of values and scientific facts woven into it. Some are more obvious, and some a re less. All act as the basis for parent-child experiences and learning opportunities. The blog will constantly include insights about the book, Pumpy & Pumpina clothing items, Pumpy & Pumpina accessories, and more. Stay tunes to my next post!
